I love this album. it brings together so many different elements seamlessly, it is at different times: ferociously heavy, technical, groovey, and most importantly fun. infact I don't think I've ever heard an album this heavy that still feels fun. and thanks to the grand mixture of sludge, grind, d beat, hardcore and tech, they could tour with a massive number of bands in a variety of scenes and fit in well, which I really hope they do. thumbs up!

Pound features everything that makes mathcore fascinating with nothing else to distract. Angular polyrhythmic riffs meld into massive grooves, with no vocals or even interludes. These two guys play oddball instruments with staggering technicality. The 9-string guitar switches from janky high-pitched squeals to seismic lows, and the conjoined drumkit busts out jazzy fills on the toms and chinas before using a 3-foot bass drum and crash cymbals to deliver a "pounding" conclusion. Catch them live.
